Post Workout - Banana Almond Oatmeal Shake

Hi Ladies & Gents. Chef Vanessa here. Today I will be sharing with you my go to protein shake that I absolutely adore having after a kickass workout with Gabby. It is simple & quick but OH so DELICIOUS. It has everything you need to replenish your body & it also aids on that booty gains we are all dreaming off. We all want that Gabby booty am I right? This shake will straight up help you on that journey.  Here you go:


Almond, Banana & oatmeal shake

Vegan | 1 serving | Prep time: 10 min


What you will need:


- 1 banana

- 4 pitted dates

- ¼ cup rolled oats

- 1tsp cinnamon

- 2tsp maca powder

- 2tsp hemp seeds

- 2tsp cocoa powder

- 2tbps almond butter

- 1tbsp raw almonds chopped

- ½ cup almond milk or as needed

- dash Himalayan pink salt

- dash of cardamom

- dash cinnamon

- ICE

- Blender


Steps to follow:


Place the almond milk first on the blender cup this will aid on combining the ingredients easier. Add oatmeal & dates second. Getting that moisture in the oatmeal & dates will also help on blending faster. Add rest of ingredients and blend until the desired consistency is reached. I like mine really thick. If you desire a more light consistency add more almond milk as needed. Serve immediately & enjoy!

* Almonds: they provide a massive amount of nutrients such as proteins, fiber, fat (NO WORRIES, it is healthy fat☺) vitamin E, & magnesium. They help to reduce hunger & promote weight loss. They help lower blood pressure, cholesterol & sugar levels. Almonds are AWESOME!

* Cardamom: Helps improve anxiety. Flavor is INSANE.
