Back in June 2020 I realized how bad fast fashion really is… As if I didn’t already know it I just didn’t really acknowledge it back then. When I finally came to my senses I decided to stop buying anything from those brands and started looking into sustainable and ethical brands. I know they can be more expensive compared to fast fashion, but if you sit down and think of the reasons ~why~, I think you’ll understand.
Reasons like fair wage to its workers to sourcing eco-friendly fabrics, these brands really seek to create fairly-made, ethically sourced, and sustainably produced clothing to be sold at a fair price in terms of what it costs to produce the product. Plus, I really think that when someone spends, let’s say $5 on a t-shirt vs $30, Which shirt would you take more care of? I think the $30 one. Which means that the $30 shirt will last longer, therefore you won’t have to buy another t-shirt for a while, not to mention that that $30 shirt is made with great quality materials and naturally that helps the shirt last longer as well. Quality over quantity guys!
Another realization; we don’t really wear half of the clothes we own at least that was my case especially with the pandemic going on I wasn’t going anywhere. So I didn’t buy any clothing for the first few months till recently I’ve decided to treat myself and buy some sustainable goodies from brands I started to follow back in June; and let me tell you it was so worth it! The quality! WOW! Plus it made me feel good that I’m giving my money to a brand that really cares about the planet and their workers.
So…Now that we’re on the same page and we know that ethical and sustainable are musts maybe you can splurge on some nice high quality activewear! Listed below are some of my favorite sustainable activewear brands and they have loungewear as well cause in reality those are the only two things I’ve worn the s**t out off this year. So, Enjoy!

Girlfriend offers cute solid colored activewear basics for women all shapes and sizes. Plus other than wearing their pieces for working out you can also dress them up with with your favorite pair of jeans or top. They recently added seamless underwear, socks, and outerwear like puffers and fleece jackets for those who live in colder parts of the world.

Wolven has activewear, loungewear, and swim for both men and women in solids and fun prints. Some of the prints are offered for both men and women which is perfect if you and your significant other love to match while working out or lounging. They also have reversible styles and tops that can be worn 4 different ways!

Plus their pieces flatter your gorgeous curves and keep you sucked in while working your butt off! They also offer men’s active and lounge plus cute accessories like sneakers, socks, hats, and even face masks!

T4T has solid and printed activewear, loungewear, and accessories for men, women, and even kids! They also have matching holiday PJs for the family. Their pieces are cute, fun, and simple basics; some with color blocking details. Accessories include masks, hats, and Veja sneakers which is a sustainable sneaker brand. Their sneakers kinda of have a Stan Smith look.

Indigo Luna has soft simple neutral and earthy toned yoga wear and intimates. They also offer cute nature inspired printed swimsuits and soft and cozy neutral colored loungewear.
